Brazilian Student Association

The Brazilian Student Association (BSA) stands as a community of students in the University of Chicago who endeavor to raise awareness about Brazil around campus. Our members serve as Brazilian Ambassadors on campus, focused on:

(1) Organizing and publicizing events that (a) disseminate Brazilian culture and (b) promote the discussion on topics related to Brazilian culture, economy and politics.

(2) Strengthening the Brazilian community among all schools in the University, as to (a) serve as a network platform for all those interested in pursuing professional, academic and/or personal opportunities in Brazil, (b) make up for the physical distance by serving as a “home away from home” to the Brazilians on campus.
